Welcome to Motab3a. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

1. Data We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, password (encrypted).
• Profile data: profile photo, age, sex, height, weight, training goal.
• Health & fitness data: workout logs (sets / reps / weight), meal logs and calorie data.
• Chat messages: text messages, photos, videos, and voice notes between coach and trainee.
• AI assistant conversations: your nutrition questions and the assistant's responses.
• Device push token: to deliver real-time notifications to your device.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Delivering the service: tracking workout and nutrition plans, enabling coach-trainee communication.
• Improving user experience and diagnosing technical issues.
• Sending activity notifications (messages, new plans, reminders).

3. Third Parties

• Supabase — database and authentication (US-based servers).
• OpenAI — processing AI diet assistant questions, parsing meal descriptions, transcribing voice notes, and screening user-submitted text for objectionable content.
• Firebase (Google) — delivering push notifications.
• Cloudflare R2 — storing images, videos, and voice notes.
• Expo / EAS — app infrastructure and over-the-air updates.

We do not sell your data to third parties or share it for advertising purposes.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently erased within 30 days. Learn how to delete your account.

5. Security

We use TLS encryption for data in transit and Row-Level Security policies at the database level to ensure each user can only access their own data.

6. Geographic Scope

Motab3a is designed for the Arab market (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE). Data is stored on US-based servers operated by our service providers.
